Default Sin and Extendibles

I've noticed something and I would like to get the Sin community to comment on it.

What does everyone think about assassins not having PVP extendibles? Currently, we are the only class in the game that doesn't really benefit from the Provenance weapons outside of PVE. We can't combine them and PVP they are lacking stats (in my opinion, to really be viable.

As I understand it, the only PVP extendibles we get are at General level or higher and they are lvl 65.

I find this kind of maddening since there was the SFT event that gave everyone else a Prov weapon and we are the only class that don't get PVP stats for it.

What is everyone doing to counter it? After my gap closers are used I feel really useless since I can't run away and I can't get close enough to attack them.

What is everyone doing to counteract this?

Anyone else feeling that sins need a bit of a quality of life buff to help them out late game?

My legion mate had prov dagger and sword not even socketed and was killing people. Your like the fastest class... why need extendables?

nyerke servers are nyerke. If anyone on siel wants to trade at a prov dagger +15 and a prov sword (any enchant) for my two +15 arena daggers msg me on the forums. For aussies like me, while better net has made Aion a lot better, extends really are a godsend. They also match my CTM playstyle, as well as having PVE strength.

nyerk what I would give for two prov weapons zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ

Here's the thing. Extendables could do 50-75% of the damage as PvP weapons, but they would still do more damage overall.


The problem with Aion is the latency and server registration. Because the servers are whack and everyone naturally has 100-300 ping, and the poor netcoding that is implemented in Aion, as a Sin, even when you're 0m away from your target, you're still too far away from the target. Reason being is the game still sees you as 3-4m away.


What is the attack range of extendie sword/dags? 4m. Congrats, you don't get that message anymore. All your attacks will be flowing through effortlessly and borderline breaks the class.

As a Gladiator I would use a Kroms spear back in 2.x days, over an Eternal like Storm Wings, for the sheer fact that Kroms would allow me to hit my target sooner and faster and more overall -- add skill effects and you'll realize it just gives you better reaction time over the player. It's a broken mechanic and is why they started removing Extendables back in 2.x era.

With the extra ranged stun from Windblade Reprisal and the speedboost from Flash Ambush, combined with Rune Knife, I really don't have much trouble reaching and hitting my opponents, and I prefer the 75 pvp gear over prov. You're trading over 20% pvp damage for a few extra hits, which I find to be unnecessary.

When i went against you in arena, some times tou did skills and auto attacks from like 4-5 meters. But as a songweaver when im able to dps from 25m and yet someone is like 15.. tells me invalid target.

That's odd, 'cause my current pvp weapons are a Prime 75 dagger and a Mythic Rank One sword.

Yea idk. Must be a ping thing for me i guess. Im always 70-120 ping and idk the things i see on my screen is crazy... i die so quick and i dont think im that undergeared... i mean for real if people who keep killing me in like 3 secs and i look at my log and see all these skills i honestly dont know what to think.
