Default Courier Passes - The procedure?

So how does the procedure work in Siel (or any other server really), when one wants to trade an item that requires Passes?

-Scenario One-
James wants to sell "Sword". He says, "Your passes!".

-Scenario Two-
James wants to sell "Sword". He says, "My passes!".

I also remember seeing that you needed multiple passes for different types of gears you wanted to trade - weapons requiring the most? Would be great if someone could copy and paste me some sort of list.

Thanks to whomever reads and replies =)

The person mailing the items has to have the passes, so if you are buying an item from someone, you have to trade them the passes beforehand(if they don't have the passes themselves). You will most times be required to also pay the amount they are actually selling the item for.

Weapon = 6 passes
Chest/Shield/Necklace/Helm = 4 passes
Legs/Earrings = 3 passes
Gloves/Shoulders/Boots/Rings/Belt = 2 passes

Also, the pass names for PvE & PvP items are a bit different, so if you want a PvP item, make sure the passes have the word "Abyss" in their name.

Also, screenshot the advertisement for the trade. That way if the person you are trading the passes to screws you and keeps the gold/passes and never sends the item, you can submit a ticket to GM's and they will most likely refund you the items and delete the items from the other person.

I was just thinking of that type of situation. Good to know.

Thanks for the quick replies.

Both of these replies are extremely helpful, I was wondering about the trust factor, because someone could just take your passes + money and run -.-
