alchemy is always handy, the number of pots/scrolls you go through is insane(spesh wen you meet those pesky SMs/bards)
the price of pots has rocketed since NC "simplified" crafting by removing the higher grade materials

cooking is handy too, the jellies and diff foods you cna make are always a plus

selling pots/scrolls and foods is not a massive bulk kinah maker but the steady trickle will keep you with money in your pocket

alchemy/cooking are the two crafts that dont rely on RNG to make money, if you fail a proc on gear/weps then ther almost worthless as you can get better gear easily(depending on your rng) from instances and it norm has a set bonus, none of the grafted gear can really compare to the endgame instances drops(cos NC doesnt make money from people crafting(other than boost buffs)

dont forget you can master one craft(essence/aethertapping dont count, you can max both and it doesnt stop you maxing a craft), you can expert the other crafts

master alchemy and expert cooking, with cooking experted you will be able to make the perer jellies used for DP=morphing or your DP skills, they also sell well

dont forget to pick up the diamond/sapphire/perer/hintera/zeldt morphs as ther handy to have if youve some spare DP to morph with ^^

I\d flip the choices of master/expert... except attempting to make composite manastones and bracing waters, not much use for master alchemy vs master cook, the fabled/yellow foods can sell out pretty quickly, even being almost impossible to find on some server's broker. most of the alchemy consumables are 480 crafting or LESS so is safe to leave it at expert.
