Aion Discussion

Okay, soooo I'm only lvl 49. I havent been able to play Aion at all really after my Alienware took a nyerk on me (RAM slots went bad on my mobo) so when I do get a chance to hop on my gf's comp I just play casually. Please forgive me for not knowing this, but what exactly is xform, or transforming? And does everyone get one?

Just by reading about it on the forums I'm going to guess its some crazy super saiyan beastmode nyerk. I was in Primum Fortress once and seen a Sorc running around in this crazy armor dueling people. I'm guessing that is it?

I get the rest of my computer parts in on Saturday XD. Got a SSD just for Aion

Yup. 1 for my boot drive, 1 for Aion, then a 1TB drive for storage.

Aion is a cool game, but not cool enough to merrit spending money outside of a sub lol

Oh, and xforming is when you have enough enough AP to be in the top 100 players on your server on your faction in AP. This number is enormously inflated since everyone was saving their AP for the 2.5 eternal items.

A 5-Star transform gets 78k health and one AOE skill that hits 6 targets for melee damage. Each time you progress up a rank, you get another skill, and more health. I think General rank (which is next from 5-Star) surpasses 100k health, I'm not sure. I think I heard Governor (highest) has like 170k? The skills you get as you climb the ranks are pretty awesome.

But but but... I love Aion (except the nyerkty enchant system).

So basically, I'll never be able to xform.
