Default Client keeps crashing >.<
My 32-bit client has randomly stopped working 3 times today; this last time it was seconds after I logged back in from the 2nd crash. Anyone else having this issue?

Make that 4x today... just logged in again after posting this and crashed before the models in Gelk fortress loaded >.<

AMG, make it 5. I load in, start to type "/l" to type in legion chat and before I can get the L out, I crash. Repair and restart didn't help.

Ok, done nyerking. For now. Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Restarted 2 more times and it mysteriously worked, though. *shrug*

Which would make sense if it had been the 64-bit client.

I take it the depth of the sarcasm there was too great? ;)

You more then likely would never have experienced this problem at all during a siege with the 64 bit client, instead of NCWest taking it away just because, from what it appears, they simply don't want to provide or deal with support for it in NA territory.

This generally happens 2-3 times in a row and stops. I did not expect to find any help on official forums so, I did not bother to check here. Looked up on AIONSource. It is something to do w/ newer GPU driver updates. Apparently, newer video card drivers result in this crash.

Yeah, this goes beyond 32 vs 64 bit client. Now I get this upon log in:

System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.


This is after playing the game for an hour, logging out, then starting the client a while later. I closed that error window and logged in and the game appears to be running fine. I dunno.

get 64 bit, problem solve ( unless if your window OS is 32 bit)
